History

This marks the first season of the GBN Industrial branding, however since it is a direct sequel to the previous servers, it continues the numerical series. The structure of the server was changed entirely, there's no more war, replacing it with smaller server events, much less military focused technology, and rules were minimized to what you may find in any normal SMP. This transition into a more typical SMP structure allowed for a pack that is more quest drive, providing tools for economics and industrial automation to further interaction between players. There were 5 main stages of progression, which were the Stone age, Brass age, Electrical age, Space age, Nuclear age, and Future age. At the beginning of the server, everyone went on a group adventure to the east, settling in the same area. Basic technologies were developed, and the settlement area was build heavily upon. The ground under the settlement was heavily mined, with drills digging tunnels that want deep underground, boring out an extensive tunnel network. Eventually a railroad was constructed that went to spawn. Once this happened, players started to spread out, building bases. It was then that technology started to accelerate in development exponentially. Around the last week of the server, tech progression reached it's peak with one player reaching the Future age, and others in the nuclear age. At the end of the server, nobody had completed the Future age, however the SMP format was highly successful, as was the entirety of the GBN Industrial relaunch.
